⚠️ 2026 Regulatory Update: PVoC Enforcement Is Back
Shipments arriving without a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) now face a 15% penalty on CIF value plus forced destination inspection — and can be denied entry entirely.
The Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) enforces the Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) programme across regulated categories: toys and childcare products, electrical and electronic goods, automotive products, chemicals and household products, mechanical materials and gas appliances, food and agricultural products, safety equipment, and used products.
We coordinate CoC certification with authorized PVoC agents before your cargo ships — not after it arrives.
